Sweet Revenge, Sour Pizza
We met at the mall. Or should I say, he ran into me, or he was stalking me, or whatever. I couldn't really hear him calling me because I had loud music playing in my earphones. This is how I was; I enjoyed walking in the mall with earphones stuck in my ears, listening to music loudly. And I'd love giving people the "blank" look, or the "Emily Face" as my sister calls it, whenever my eyes would meet with theirs.
Hmmm... Funny, who is this guy tapping my shoulder? I turned to look and Oh it was just him. Him. An old "friend" (or more appropriately, fiend), lost somewhere in Baguio's southern fog, or filthy canals. Oh sorry, did I say canals? (Smiling "evily" or sarcastically) Ah, there's no place like Baguio. Anyway, what did he want? Oh, he's just saying hi to me. Hiya back. End of conversation. Or so I thought.
SG [Stalker Guy] (Pardon me for not thinking hard enough for a better name...): Ey! Hi! Kumusta?
Em: Oy, Kaw pala yan (Which is my usual expression when I see a Half-stranger)! Ayos naman, ikaw? (Then removes an earphone)
SG: Ok lang din! Hindi na kita nakikita ah.
Em: Ah, eh, busy eh. Thesis. Overnights. (Grins)
SG: Buti pa yung thesis niyo, ... (and blah blah blah)
Sorry, I don't usually keep track of conversations if I weren't in the mood to listen. Well anyway, while we were talking (or should I say "while he was talking"), this 80's song came up next, it was just right. I imagined replacing the lyrics of the song into our conversation. Hmmm... Let's give it a try.
Em: Here you go way too fast, don't slow down, you're gonna crash.
SG: Ganon ba? Galing naman... (etc, etc.)
Em: You should watch, watch your stay here. Don't look out, you're gonna break your neck.
SG: Ah kami, (blah blah blah). Uy, labas naman tayo minsan, (etc, etc, blah blah)
Em: So Shut, shut your mouth, cause I'm not listening anyhow. I've had enough, enough of you. Enough to last a lifetime through.
SG: Nung sa _______, nahuli yata kayo dun no? Kami yata yung nauna, pero (blah blah, etc, etc)
Em: So what do want of me? Got no words of sympathy and if I go around with you, you know that I'll get messed up too with you, with you... na na na na na na na na.... Slow down, you're gonna crash...
Hmmm... Ang panget ng kalabasan. Oh well, you get my point. And this (yes, the lines below) ends the conversation.
SG: (blah blah blah... man, this guy talks waaay too much.)
At this point, I imagined myself giving this guy an uppercut. Then I imagined that he flew up the air and fell down flat on his face at the ground floor, bloodied and out of form. Poor, poor guy... But then, I erased this evil thought from my twisted mind.
Em: Ah, eh, sige, alis na 'ko, may lakad pa 'ko.
SG: Saan ka punta?
Em: May ka-date pa 'ko, sa _________. Sige. (Then walks towards the escalator)
I left him standing there. I don't know what happened to him afterwards. I imagined that he turned into cold ice and then slowly melted out of form and unto the floor and then into the street canals and finally mixing up with toxic and human waste. Yummy. But then, I erased this evil thought from my twisted mind. God, forgive me. I will enjoy the pizza. With that, I happily walked into the restaurant with a sarcastic grin on my "blank" face. Ah, yummy.
Ah, yet again, revenge was sweet. (O_o) The 80's song mentioned was "Crash" by The Primitives.

And yet the Angels descended from the heavens,
Singing praises of love and uncertainty;
To humans and their thoughts of everlasting edens,
Unknowingly swindled to the tune of travesty;
In the subtle eve as time passed in silence,
We seek, but in confusion we need not find;
Of harmony unspoken, and heed not violence,
And the ebony sky starless and stained of words unkind;
Along with the last of the glacial rain,
We rest amongst the bewildered;
Catching the unwelcoming droplets, almost feeling insane,
Finding words of beauty, speaking unhindered.
Hands holding firm a thousand broken dreams,
Is it hope that we found or faith that we lost?
It was unfinished for a while... Had a hard time thinking about its title... Not entirely sure what it's about. (O_o;)
***New Footnote: Yeah I think it's about a time when I was doubting so much the things in my life and almost lost faith on all of them, but was and is glad to have faith back again.

In the sober eve I see, Ten thousand spoonfuls of sleepy stars; Whispering to me their tales of melancholy, Stories told of many that they washed away the hours;
Tell me, Oh tell me, These stories that I have so longed to hear; To let me feel pity or sympathy, Or to let me offer them faith or hope;
Which ever is too near, I should then find myself in this decade of insanity.
"Ebony", the title, attributed to the night sky... perhaps empty of stars that would tell these tales...

The dry coldness of the icy moon, the wandering damp air of the fog, the uneasy rays of the sunset, the calmness of the burning wind...
This must be the undaunting fate of the Gemini...
Thinking outside one time in a cold night, I wrote this out of the confusion of my mind from a lot of things that are going on. It's like, I'm having a bad case of schizophrenia or split personality right now.
And since I'm a Gemini, I associated the composition with the idea that there were two minds in one (my) body.

The wild rays of the sun, In this endless field I run; Blinded but still I can see, Somehow all emotions are lost at sea;
Rain pours down heavy, Standing there not knowing any; To be lost without a cause, We try but we dry like moss.
I don't really know what it's about... this just came out of my mind while I was waiting for my mom to finish her therapy. Maybe it's about a place I'd like go, a hill near a country side with flawless grass fields and beautiful trees. "Overlapse", the title, perhaps because I was day dreaming of this place so much.

Hate. Why do we
sometimes love to hate? Are we born to suffer this fate? Is it
because a person really deserves our hate? But what if we're being
hated by other persons as well? Isn't it hard to get out of this
vicious cycle? Don't we wish that we were born without hatred?
Because sometimes, it is us, ourselves that we hurt the most.
Also from my Black Book, lost dated...

For will is never quenched unless it will, But operates as nature doth in fire If violence a thousand times distort it. Hence, if it yieldeth more or less, it seconds The force; and these have done so, having power Of turning back unto the holy place.

Death
Speak my name for it simplifies fact.
Life and death are not in similar pact. The fool does not respect my fate, comprehend when I heed or hate.
The vigilant do not escape my stalk, nor bear witness that I breathe and walk.
The suffering call on my grim and name. Salvage the souls in my persistent aim. The false learn my fatal touch true. Value the factors which I cannot provide you.
The brave stand their ground with might. Beware my gentle whisper in the night. The shadows take form in my disguise. Behold, my pets, I do not compromise.
The suicidal speak my name forever. Take heed mortals, I leave them never. The impious moan with fear and scream. Morality awake! I am not a dream.
Speak my name for it simplifies fact. Life and death are not in similar pact.
